Sculpteur

The clay I model is my tool, my writing, my mode of expression.

To me, a sculpture is an idea. It embodies a thought, a question, an emotion. In modeling clay, I pursue an expression that never matches my thoughts. It strives for it without achieving it. This path is captivating.

Since 2017, permanent exhibition at Wilo & Grove.

A chosen subject, a clay creation, a firing, a mould...

... of the mold, eight plaster prints are made,

or in bronze from a single piece to eight copies.

BRONZE

The trickle of light on the surface of a bronze enchants me. The choice of a color for the patina brings another reading of the piece.

PLÂTRE

Light is absorbed by the plaster. I protect it from dust by applying white or black metallic wax.
